Why we love this equipment

Ideal for grinding, surface prep, coatings and mastic removal and polishing, the compact design can be easily broken down for transport or to be taken up and down stairs.

With a 20” grinding path making it ideal for smaller areas or less difficult projects, the 3 head planetary grinder makes for a better consistent grind or polish. The QCS tooling system also allows for quick tooling changes saving time and money.

  • Grinders are a three headed planetary walk behind machine that takes diamond or resin tooling to grind or polish concrete. They can also be used to prep a slab for a coating or overlay, removing adhesives or contaminants, or to polish a concrete slab.

  • Use a grinder when needing to grind no more than 1/8” of concrete. Grinders are less aggressive than scarifiers. If polishing concrete is required after removing a coating or adhesives then a grinder is more appropriate as a grinder is less aggressive.

    • What is your power source? House power vs. generator.

    • What power is available? 220v single phase, 208v 3 phase, 480v 3 phase

    • Does the equipment need to be delivered to the jobsite? Most equipment is heavy and requires a box truck with a lift gate.

    • What is the access like to get the equipment on site? Do you need to hoist the equipment into the building or is there an elevator?

    • What is the end goal or purpose for renting equipment. i.e., removing flooring, removal of mastic, profile a surface for a coating, grinding uneven concrete.
